TODDLERS (12 TO 24 MONTHS) AND TWOS (24 TO 36 MONTHS)

Young toddlers learn best by doing and playing, by exploring the world around them using all their senses. The toddler classrooms and playgrounds are carefully designed to promote safe exploration and learning.  The interest area in the classrooms provide a wealth of different toddler activities, yet remained uncluttered, with room to move and practice developing motor skills.  During the toddler years language skills are really blossoming. We sing and talk and read constantly in these classrooms; we listen and respond to the children as they begin using their new language skills.  We paint and draw and glue and splash, having fun and making big messes.
Our toddler program develops the emotional and educational environment that is first introduced in our infant program.  Our curriculum provides hands-on activities that allow children to explore, inquire and discover solutions.  As a toddler your child is learning so many new and exciting things.  From the early stages of crawling, to those beginning steps, they have been experimenting and meeting new challenges daily.  New social skills and emotions are developing during interaction with other children, resulting in a brand new phase of communication. Their activity level expands and their mobility strengthens to the next level of development.
Our Toddler program follows a daily lesson plan, in an effort to meet all your child’s developmental needs.  Our lesson plans focus on building language, creativity, fine and gross motor skills, and social interaction. Our goal is for your toddler to mature into a pre-schooler ready, willing and able to take the next step toward positive and healthy development.
